We can help with your design and decorate your home or rental property with confidence.

Prior to going to a new client's home for a consultation I send them a design questionnaire to complete before we meet. I ask several questions like, 'what areas do you want to work on', what are your color preferences and so on.

On this form the investment question is there.

Why your design investment is important?

Investing in design is an important decision for any interior design project. It ensures that the end result is a space that is both beautiful and functional. Design investment allows you to create a space that is tailored to your individual taste and lifestyle. It also allows you to create a space that is timeless, ensuring that your design will last for years to come. With a design investment, you can be sure that your interior space will be a reflection of your personal style and dreams.

No. 1 Reason Why it's helpful to know your budget....

If I know your investment, I will look for items that work WITHIN your investment. I have various trade resources to suit different price ranges. We do have some higher end companies that offer better materials, construction and styles. If I don't know your investment, I may find something you absolutely LOVE but is out of you price range, leaving you disappointed and this might be hard to "unsee" it when comparing it to other options.

Ultimately, my goal is to deliver and make my client happy. So, having a talk about your investment expectations up front goes a long way and is definitely a conversation worth having.

Easy steps to figure out your investment

Figuring out your investment for interior design can be an intimidating process, but it doesn't have to be!

Here are 6 easy steps to help you get started:

1. Start by assessing your needs. What changes do you want to make to your space? Are you looking for full-scale renovations or smaller updates?

2. Research the options available to you. Look at different materials, products, and services for interior design that are within your budget. Make sure to factor in the cost of labor, if needed.

3. Estimate the cost of each item you wish to purchase and write down how much you are willing to spend on each item. This will help you determine the total investment needed for the project.

4. Set a realistic investment for your project. Make sure to factor in any unexpected costs that may arise.

5. Work with a professional interior designer to help you make the most of your investment. They can provide valuable insight into the best products and services available for your specific needs.

6. Finally, once you have a plan and investment in place, this will help you with a ball park amount for your project. This is just a starting point for your project. Having an idea is so important.

Final Thoughts........

Having the conversation about investment may not be the most exciting topic for some, but it is certainly an important one.

Client Thoughts

just beautiful

By actively listening and getting to know us and our style, she had an extraordinary ability to ascertain what our needs and desires were for our project and bought our vision to life. We were most impressed with the scrutiny and care she took to perfect, and make precise to every cut - stitch - seam pattern and design and gave the finish product a professional and flawless look! She also was great with organizing and planning the project with us. We can't thank you enough for all you've done for us. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful!! - and I can't wait to work with you on the next project.
